Our Services

About Our Services

Our first goal is to provide your child with the best preventive dental services available.

Our dentists and registered dental hygienists (RDH) are highly trained in the most effective methods to maintain your child’s dental health.

School Visits

We’ll visit your child’s school twice per year; in the fall and again in the spring. We’ll treat your child IN the school – we do NOT take students out of the school building.

Your child will be able to attend normal class schedules, and will only be out for a few minutes while we provide their services.

We’ll inspect and review for any concerns, provide cleanings, flouride and sealants, and when needed, protective fillings, and we’ll document and chart tooth development.

Our processes and staff are fully licensed and certified, and we follow all HIPAA proceedures for your child’s safety.

Cost

  • If your child has Medicaid or SCHIP, there will be no cost to you.*
  • If you have dental insurance, we will file your insurance for you, and bill you for any further amount.
  • If you don’t have dental insurance or Medicaid, we will work with you.

We’ll send documentation home with your child after treatment, and your school nurse will have records of service.  We’ll also provide lists of local dentists, for any further services your child may need.

IS HPS IN YOUR SCHOOL?

*Please note: If your child currently sees a local dentist, your child may have already had these services done or be scheduled for this in their office. Please consult your dentist. Medicaid and dental insurance will not cover cleanings and fluorides more than once every six months.

If your child has a cleaning by a dentist within 6 months of the hygienist visiting your school, your child will not be seen by our hygienist during our scheduled visit to your child’s school because he/she has already been seen elsewhere.
